Sol Holiday Guide
While undoubtedly still renowned as the worlds major tourist location, the Costa Del Sol has earned this reputation by offering its clients a mixture of both the old and the new Spain. While for some it is the attraction of the largest array of beaches in Europe to soak up the sun in one of the most reliable sunshine climates by day and dance till the early hours at night, while for others it is a haven of more traditional Spanish towns and a relaxed pace of life.
The Costa Del Sol stretches along the southern coastline of Spain from the western point of Gibraltar through to Nerja in the east. Within that stretch of coastline there lies some of the more well known resort towns such as Sotogrande, Estepona and Puerto Banus through to Mijas Costa, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Malaga itself. The Costs Del Sol includes a plentiful mix of activities, sunshine and for many visitors, golf. With around 70 golf courses on the Costa del Sol it is easy to see how it was given the title of Costa del Golf.
